So you got the dreaded e-mail from eBay telling you your seller account has been suspended. This can be extremely troubling for anyone, but especially if you make your living off of selling on eBay and need your account to pay the bills. This is a guide on how to get back your eBay account after having your seller priveleges suspended.

Download Firefox
The first step is if you are not already using Firefox as a web browser and instead using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer, you will need to download the Firefox broser. Once you have downloaded Firefox go to options and select the privacy tab at the top. In the bottom of the "private data" sectoin press settings and check off every checkbox yo uare able to and press ok. By doing this, in the future anytime you close Firefox it will ask to delte all those things and you will click ok. The reason you are doing this is because both eBay and Paypal track cookies and can link your accounts if you do not take these steps to clean your cookies.
Register A Business Name (LLC) In Your Local City
First you will need to essentially create a new identity for both eBay and Paypal. You will need to do this because your name is already on eBay and Paypals blacklist. You will then do a search on the internet for "register business las vegas" for example but using your city of course. You are doing this purposely so that the business or LLC name looks like a person or an individuals name and not a company. You are doing this intentionally. Could be something like Preson Fae for example, that is just made up of course.
Register A Virtual Address
Now keep in mind these steps do cost some money. Not a ton of money but I often see people online acting as if they can't even buy a $10 domain to start a web business so I just wanted to point out if that's you or if you are just going to occasionaly sell and this isn't a business for you this is probably more cost and work than you are up for. The reason you are registering a virtual address is again because your home address is on eBay and Paypal's blacklist. You are doing this so you don't have to go get a real office which would be even more cost prohibitive. You could also get a PO Box instead of a virtual address but Paypal and ebay and almost everyone frowns on PO Boxes since they are often used for scams and fraud and since they aren't as definitive a way to identify someone as a true address. If you would like to cut costs and get a PO Box don't get an actual Post Office box but instead try to find a local mailbox store that has a physical address with a box. That way you can call it a suite number or apartment number so you get the low cost and low commitment of a PO Box while still maintaining an actual physical address.
Get A Different Phone Number
This step is very easy, it's either low cost if not completely free. You can get a virtual phone number from one of any of the following providers or more Jetnumbers, TollFreeForwarding, GotVmail, TextPlus, etc, etc, etc. Make sure to forward this number to your cellphone number which will be your new contact phone number as well as your number to receive any text security codes from either Paypal or eBay. If at all possible get a virtual phone number in the same city or at least same state as you reside. It looks a little fishy if you have a New York number but live in Idaho.
New Bank Account & Credit Card
Again, this step requires a bit more work than some of the others. For this you will need to create a DBA which is also known as a doing business as or a fictituous name. You will need to do this so you can get a credit card in this new anonymous name so eBay and Paypal will not know you are you; because you are banned, you obviously do not want them knowing this. There are ways to bypass having to go the DBA route but this is actually the simplest, easiest and legal route of doing this. At this point you now have a new address, a new phone number, a new bank account and a new credit card.
New IP Address
Next you will need a new IP address before you even sign up for eBay, in addition to tracking cookies eBay and Paypal both track IP addresses as well. Although dial up internet is painfully slow this is a good way to do this as you get a new IP address everytime you log on to the internet. Some good companies to consider if you want to go this route are Juno, Earthlink, or NetZero. If you're a little bit more computer saavy you can us proxies or a non-static IP address but this may be over the heads of some of you so keep in mind dialup is an option.
You Are Now Ready To Create A New Ebay & Paypal Account
Once you have completed all these steps we have outlined you are now ready to create a new eBay and Paypal account. Even though you've gone to all this work already be sure never to log into any of the old accounts at the same location, never use credit cards, debit cards or bank accounts tied to your name personally or all this hard work creating a new identity for Paypal and Ebay could be down the drain.
